I always love finding new shows David and I can watch together David will like and is different from the Romances, Hallmark Movies and DIY Shows I always seem to pick out to watch. Do you do the same thing?
I would like to share a new addition to our Christmas Gift Guide 25: Succession: The Complete Series was a show my family hadn’t heard of until the Press Release arrived. After reading the Press Release I couldn’t wait to share the information about the show with David and Charlie. I knew David would enjoy Succession a lot and this may be a show Charlie and I will end up watching with David.
Over the weekend David and I sat down and we watched a couple episodes of Succession: The Complete Series. Having 39 Episodes will take us a while to watch all of them but when we got started David and I didn’t want to quit watching the Show but we had to get up in the morning so we will finish it throughout the week.
Charlie watched some of Succession: The Complete Series which Charlie enjoyed the Special Features just like David did. When Succession: The Complete Series was first released it HBO. Our family hasn’t ever had HBO in our home which is why we hadn’t heard of the show until the DVD arrived.
Succession: The Complete Series is a drama that follows the Roy Family and their quest for power. The show features many actors and actresses we hadn’t heard of but by the end of the series we fell in love with each and everyone one of the Actors and Actresses. Here is a fun fact for you. Succession earned an impressive 75 Emmy® nominations and 19 wins over its four-season run.
Succession was nominated for Outstanding Drama Series throughout all four seasons and securing the Emmy® win three times (2020, 2022, 2023). In its fourth and final season Succession dominated the Emmy® field with 27 nominations and secured six wins, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor, and Outstanding Lead Actress.
