I had to let you know August 21st is National Senior Citizens Day #SeniorCitizensDay. National Senior Citizens Day gives me the opportunity to celebrate my Mother in Law Sherry Cates and my father in law David Cates Sr. and my parents in heaven.
More than that Senior Citizens Day allows me to celebrate David and myself because even though I hate to admit it we are Senior Citizens and so are most of my friends. You know what that is okay it just means we’ve lived a long time and hopefully had a good life.
I just never thought when I had Suzzane I would outlive her but I did and it’s sad but okay at the same time. I know she is in a much better place and it allowed me to have Charlie. Making me a Senior Citizen with a 17 year old child. I wouldn’t change my life if you paid me. Would you?
David I love you know and always to the moon and back. 4 even and always. Come grow old with me the best is yet to come.
