I’m excited to bring Charlie back to share a post in his Would You Rather Challenge: November 15, 2025. The challenge allows us to ask a question from the children’s book The Ultimate Book of Would You Rather Questions: 1001 Family-Friendly Challenges for Kids, Teens and Adults by Kimberly McLeod (Author).
Would you rather have a mirror that says your thoughts out loud or no, mirrors at all in your home.
With the things I think sometimes having a mirror that would say my thoughts out loud wouldn’t be good. I’m my mom and have no, filter and things that go through my mind shouldn’t be shared with anyone ever.
I would choose to have no, mirrors in my home which is fine with me because I would have to look at myself and see how much weight I’ve gained and how much I look like my dad as well as a grandmother instead of a wife to David and a mom to Charlie.
Charlie is the same way I am about the things that goes on inside his head but he said he wouldn’t care if people knew what he was thinking because it could remove toxi things from his life so he would picl mirrors that would say his thoughts out loud.
David said he would pass on both because both of these could get Charlie and I in trouble and he would need to get us out of any trouble we get into and wouldn’t have time to deal with a mirror of his own. Which David is right about.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
