I would like to share a children’s book we received in exchange for a review called Hanukkah 1-2-3!: A First Counting Book (A Jewish Holiday Concept Book): Board Books to Celebrate the Jewish Holidays . Hanukkah 1-2-3!: A First Counting Book (A Jewish Holiday Concept Book) is the perfect Board Books to Celebrate the Jewish Holidays which I can’t wait to share with Charlie and David as it will allow us to learn about a Jewish Holiday we don’t know much about.
If you’re teaching little ones to count or their numbers will also help with that. Charlie and I liked the cover of the book with the pale blue background the Menorah with the children holding Jewish toys and Gifts.
I love how the Author lets us know they count their blessings with love and light which we all need to do more of. One box to open and 2 candles to light. Be careful. Don’t burn yourself remember it’s okay to ask a adult for help.
Three Latkes to fry which was something my family had to look up making this a #teachingmoment. If we had been #Homeschooling, we could have studied Latkes in our cooking class. Even though we’ve finished #Homeschooling there is no, reason we can’t still make Latkes to share with our friends and family. Would you want one?
Next, we see 4 Maccabees fight another #teachingmoment for my family as we had to look up Maccabees giving us more family time together. 5 coins gleam. I don’t know about you, but I wish I had 5 coins.
Then we learn about 6 dreidels which look like they would be fun to play but we would need to look up directions. 7 Donuts glisten which is enough to share with our friends and family. Remember they have Jelly inside so make sure you have napkins on hand.
8 blue lights burn looks like we need to go to the store to get the blue lights. Would you want to go shopping with me. Next is nine Menorahs something else we need to purchase. 10 sing along would allow you and your family to research songs based on Hanukkah to sing together.
I hope you take the time to share Hanukkah 1-2-3!: A First Counting Book (A Jewish Holiday Concept Book) with your friends and family and teach them about this Jewish Holiday. If you celebrate the #Holiday in your family come share your tips on Hanukkah with us.
Also, take time to check out the back of the book because the Author reminds us of what we do so we can be prepared for the celebration. As well as sharing “why do we do all these things?” Which could be printed out to share with our friends and family.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
