My family wanted to share a children’s board book called It’s Your Birthday Illustrated by Kathrin Fehrl which we received a copy of in exchange for this review. I sat down this morning to read It’s Your Birthday a children’s board book for toddlers and up. I love the front of the book with the different Cakes and the pretty candles in pink, green and blue. Look at the packages and all of the kids. Did you see the Mouse?
I love how the Author has included a seek-n-find on ever page and ask us to find the Mouse on every page which will keep the reading and learning going for a while. if you were #Homeschooling you could have your children read the book and bake a Cake just like they are in the book.
I love how the Author tells us what all we will need to bake the Cake with. The Author asks use questions including what your favorite cake decoration is. Before you get lost in the story how many party hats can you find?
I love how the Author included the words to the Happy Birthday song which we can sing together once we finish reading the story. It’s Your Birthday is a layered book. I hope you take the time to check out this fun book that isn’t just to be read on Birthday’s but year round.
