I wanted to share a great way to enjoy Spring Break at the Nasher Sculpture Center with free admission, family-friendly activities, music, and film. I would like to see if David would like to go with me. If he can’t go, would you want to?

What: Free admission and programs featuring tours, collaborative projects, art making with guest artists, and a special ‘til Midnight program with music and a movie screening in the garden. 

When: March 18–March 22, 2026 

  • Free admission Wednesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 6 p.m. to midnight 
  • Family programming 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
  • ‘til Midnight Friday from 6 p.m. to midnight

Details: POW! POP! CREATE! Spring Break gets a Pop Art remix at the Nasher. Inspired by Roy Lichtenstein’s bold graphics and Robert Rauschenberg’s inventive use of everyday materials, this weeklong celebration invites artists of all ages to see the extraordinary in the ordinary. Bring the whole family to play and explore during a week of FREE programming at the Nasher including exhibition tours, collaborative projects, and art making led by local artists Ofelia Faz-Garza, Sofía González-Martínez, and Adam Palmer. 

Daily Schedule, Wednesday through Sunday 

11 a.m. – 1 p.m.   PEEL, PRESS, POP! 

Inspired by artist Roy Lichtenstein, use stickers to collaboratively transform objects into a polka-dotted Pop installation. 

11 a.m. – 4 p.m.   GET CREATIVE  

Add your own artistic touch to coloring pages created by the Nasher Student Advisory Board. 

BUILD & PLAY – Engage in creative play with blocks and games in the sculpture garden. 

12:30 and 2 p.m.  

GUIDED FAMILY TOUR – Gain new insights and thoughtfully explore the art on view with a Nasher Educator.  1 – 3 p.m.  

MAKE ART WITH LOCAL ARTISTS – Join us for hands-on art activities created by featured guest artists. 

  • Wednesday and Friday: Clay sculpting with Ofelia Faz-Garza  
  • Thursday and Saturday: Paper collage with Sofía González-Martínez  
  • Sunday: Assemblage with Adam Palmer 

FRIDAY 6:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. 

‘TIL MIDNIGHT AT THE NASHER 

Enjoy the garden late into the night for ‘til Midnight, the Nasher’s seasonal concert and movie series. Kicking the event off at 6:30 p.m. is indie pop singer/songwriter Remy Reilly followed by indie band Chanpan at 7:45 p.m.

Following the band will be a screening of 2022 sensation Everything Everywhere All At Once, which follows a middle-aged Chinese immigrant is swept up into an insane adventure in which she alone can save existence by exploring other universes and connecting with the lives she could have led. See more information HERE 

About the Nasher Sculpture Center: 

Located in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, the Nasher Sculpture Center is home to the Raymond and Patsy Nasher Collection, one of the finest collections of modern and contemporary sculpture in the world, featuring more than 700 masterpieces by Brancusi, Calder, de Kooning, di Suvero, Giacometti, Basquiat, Hepworth, LeWitt, Matisse, Miró, Moore, Picasso, Rodin, Serra, and Shapiro, among others.
