Tuesday ๐ฟ
โBe still, and know that I am God.โ
Psalm 46:10
It’s Tuesday morning and the last day of June. As I prepare to move through the day, and get ready for July I’ve been struggling with what’s going to happen with my family, the cars, and just life in general. Sometimes it feels like there are so many things demanding our attention that it’s hard to know where to start.
As I thought about everything on my mind this morning, I reached back into my heart and remembered one simple verse that has carried me through difficult seasons before.
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
โ Psalm 46:10
Those words reminded me that God already knows our needs before we do. He knows the challenges we’re facing, the questions we don’t have answers to yet, and the worries that keep us awake at night. None of it surprises Him. Which is why this is one Bible Verse I share with everyone I know and it was one of my mom’s favorite verses. I can almost hear my mom reminding me of it this morning.
No, that doesn’t mean life suddenly becomes easy. The bills still need to be paid, cars still need repairs, and difficult decisions still have to be made. But it does mean we don’t have to carry those burdens alone. We just have to believe in the Lord and what he has in store for us.
Today, I’m choosing to trust that God will take care of my family one step at a time. I’m choosing to believe that even when I can’t see the path ahead, He already knows where it leads. Instead of letting worry take over, I’m placing those concerns into His hands and asking Him to guide us through whatever comes next.
If you’re facing something heavy today, I hope you’ll hold on to this promise with me. Take a moment to pause, breathe, and remember that God is still in control. He has not forgotten you, and He is faithful even when life feels uncertain.
I pray that today brings you peace, strength, and the reminder that no matter what you’re facing, you never have to face it alone.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
