Bullying happens to anyone any and at any age: How to Recognize It and Help Stop it

The Mommies Reviews

Bullying can happen at any age including schools with friends and even in adult spaces at times. Charlie has faced bullying more than once. One of the incidents with Charlie was when a so-called friend kept poking Charlie with a pencil after being asked to stop numerous times. Have your children dealt with bullying?

Dealing with this incident reminded my family that even behaviors that seem small can have an impact on us for a long time. I wanted to remind you that bullying isn’t always physical it can be teasing which Charlie has also deal with on more than one occasion.

If your children come to you take the time to listen to what they have to say without interrupting. Then ask questions and if possible, take notes because one you talk t someone about the incident feelings can get in the way so having what you want to say written down will keep you on track.

Teach your children boundaries which Charlie stayed with in even though he was hurt and mad.

Thank you,
