Ultimate Blog Challenge October 2020 Day 7

Homeschooling Charlie leads us to look up Historical Facts for school but I didn’t have to do that this time as Paul from the Ultimate Blog Challenge shared two facts with us.

Before I get to the prompt in the Ultimate Blog Challenge October 2020 Day 7 I would like to share what he shared with us.

#1. On this day in 1866, the Reno gang carries out the first robbery of a moving train in the U.S., making off with over $10,000 from an Ohio & Mississippi train in Jackson County, Indiana. Prior to this innovation in crime, holdups had taken place only on trains sitting at stations or freight yards. (source🙂

#2: Yesterday, Facebook shared a memory with the creator of this challenge from October 6, 2010 – On that date, Paul was attending one of his first online marketing events. What a fun flashback to see pop up!

We were asked to share what has changed in what you are doing today vs 1 year, or 3 years, or 5 years, or maybe even 10 years ago?

For me nothing much other than the events I was attending has closed due to Covid-19 and I don’t know if they will re-open or not. Instead of letting this get me down I have been looking for new ways to promote not only my business but others as well.

I held a Virtual Event a couple weeks back and have my second one in 2 weeks. I joined Usborne Books and also Norwex to help supplement our income.
