Styling Advice for those Going Back to Office

This is a review for Dallas Children’s Aquarium who sent me family three tickets to come out and check out the Aquarium which we feel in love with.

During Covid Charlie has been becoming more of a Home Body and getting him out is hard which is leading to Depression. I try so hard to find fun and unique places to take Charlie were he can be a child and learn but not become overwhelemed.

When we visited the Children’s Aquarium in Dallas I knew I had found the perfect place to keep Charlie entertained for hours and days on end. Not only could we walk through to look at all the Fishes but there were Interactive Exhibits for Charlie and I to do together.

As we walked through and talked Charlie and I were able to plan many new Lessons for our School year. Including purchasing and starting our own Fish Tank and a Turtle Tank in our Home. The only thing I refused was a Lizard which Charlie can see and take care of at my mother in laws.

There is so many well known secrets you will discover about the Fish including one that Spits. Before you ask yes, this Fish really Spits. Charlie and I even colored a picture and scanned it and saw our Fish in the water which was so fun. I can’t wait to bring Lily and Jason back to color there own Fish.

I loved how the Aquarium in all on one floor because Charlie has issues with Heights, Elevators and Stairs at times. I could even sit down and Charlie would be able to take Lily and Jason through on his own and I would always be able to see them. For Christmas I want to purchase a Family Membership then we can go anytime we want.

FRESHWATER ZONE

From the lakes, ponds, and rivers that surround the places we live, peer in on the creatures with which we share these watery realms. Discover our Australian Rainbows, Blind Cavefish, and Red-bellied Piranha. Keep your eyes peeled for our Caiman Lizards which Charlie found with other new friends.

INTERTIDAL ZONE

Charlie loved seeing the Octopus protecting the Aquarium when we arrived and if he could have Charlie would have brought this home in a heart beat.

One of the harshest areas to live in the Ocean, the Intertidal Zone is home only to those species that can endure the regular pounding of waves and the climate changes from the tidal highs and lows. These areas contain some of the most diverse, expansive, and beautiful Animals on earth. Here you’ll encounter our beautiful Sea Urchins and even the aptly-named Chocolate Chip Sea Star. Which was so pretty and made Charlie hungry. LOL But being a boy everything makes him hungry. How about you?

SHORE ZONE

Like the Intertidal Zone, the Ocean shores have dwellers that are greatly affected by the changing tides and frequent beach visitors. See familiar creatures and gaze upon a Fish that walks on the Sea floor! You’ll encounter our fascinating Seahorses. Did you know Seahorses are mine and my nieces Lily’s favorite Sea Creature/ Animal? Rhinoceros Iguana which was fun hearing David try to say, and Batfish here. Plus, see the Caribbean Reef and observe the environment our nightlife creatures call home.

NEAR SHORE ZONE

From Snake-like Eels David and Charlie enjoyed watching to creatures with eight arms or hard shells, the Near Shore Zone features a lot of our most recognizable species. David found the Clownfish which he wanted to bring home, Porcupinefish, and Moray Eels are just a few of the interesting Aquatic friends you’ll find.

OFFSHORE ZONE

As the Ocean water gets deeper, the more unusual creatures can be found. Featuring unusual shapes, colors, and sizes, life in the Offshore Zone is anything but boring and predictable. Visit the Indo-Pacific Reef, meet fish with teeth (yes, teeth!), say hello to our formidable Queensland grouper, and watch our Zebra Sharks and yes, they did look like Zebras lounge in their habitat.

STINGRAY BAY

Venture to our outdoor pavilion to visit Stingray Bay, where guests can feed and interact with Cownose Rays in a touch pool. Nearby, you can watch Black Tip Reef Sharks and other fishy friends in the large outdoor Shark habitat. I didn’t think I would be able to pull Charlie away from here.

Guess what I feed and pet a Stingray yes, me I did it. I was scared just like Charlie but I did it and yes, I would again if I could. They weren’t scary or slimy and they loved being petted. If I could have I would have brought one home with me. Which would never have happened before visiting the Aquarium because like Charlie says I am a girly girl and scared of things like this.
