Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days Published By Jeff Kinney

Charlie has been obsessed with Diary of a Wimpy Kid it seems like forever. As soon as a new book comes out Charlie ask if we can head to the Book Store to pick up the new novel before they sell out of them. This is wonderful for me as I don’t have to fight with Charlie to sit down and read if he has Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

This morning I wanted to share the latest book Charlie purchased which is Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days. Charlie wanted this new novel as it had the name dog in the title and he wanted to see if this novel had dogs in the storyline. I could have let Charlie know Dog Days is a saying but I thought it would be a learning lesson by purchasing Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days and letting Charlie read this new novel on his own.

I also like how you learn more about Video Games through Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days and when and when you shouldn’t play games. Once again I used this as a learning opportunity. After Charlie finished reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days he hasn’t been playing his game as much and he has been going outside more. Which is a huge plus for our family.

Dog Days (Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Book 4) by [Kinney, Jeff]

It’s summer vacation, the weather’s great, and all the kids are having fun outside. So where’s Greg Heffley? Inside his house, playing video games with the shades drawn.

Greg, a self-confessed “indoor person,” is living out his ultimate summer fantasy: no responsibilities and no rules. But Greg’s mom has a different vision for an ideal summer . . . one packed with outdoor activities and “family togetherness.”

Whose vision will win out? Or will a new addition to the Heffley family change everything?
