Easter Gift Guide 2023: Tap! Tap! Tap!: Dance! Dance! Dance!

I wanted to share a new children’s book that you will find inside our Easter Gift Guide 2023: Tap! Tap! Tap! Dance! Dance! Dance! by Herve Tullet. I received a copy of in exchange for this review.

Homeschooling our children can be fun but exhausting when were looking for ways to keep them engaged in school which has been happening with Charlie this year. I knew we needed to change things up in our Music Class. This morning I will be introducing Charlie to this children’s book we can use in Music Class. Allowing us to bring music outside instead of always being inside.

When I handed the book to Charlie I pointed out it was from the creator of New York Times Bestsellers Press HER and Mix It Up! which we can also check out for our Reading Class and this will allow us to take a Field Trip to the Library or our local bookstore. Would you like to come with us? We could stop at a music store as well.

Charlie let me know he liked the hands on the cover of Tap! Tap! Tap!: Dance! Dance! Dance! and the author used Primary colors for the hands which all children can recognize. Tap! Tap! Tap!: Dance! Dance! Dance! is big enough to sit on the floor and work from and is made from a sturdy cardboard that will not teach or come apart easily.

For kids that are learning to stay in the lines when you open the book there are three lines with hands that the kids can practice following before reading the book. I like how this is a interactive book and tells you what to do. Like placing your hand here and then for you to concentrate. Which we all need to do.

I love Tap! Tap! Tap!: Dance! Dance! Dance! gets children moving and allowing them to get in Exercise without even knowing it. Which is a new way for us to do our Homeschool PE. For more fun you could host a scavenger hunt and look for the items mentioned in the book including a Ping Pong Ball and Butterfly.

Or you could read this book when studying animals as it mentions Butterflys and Fish. Or go Skating like in the book which Charlie hasn’t ever done. Have you? Did you see all the circles? They reminded me of a Roller Coaster. How about you? As well as a Etch A Sketch. With Easter right around the corner Tap! Tap! Tap!: Dance! Dance! Dance! would make a wonderful Gift for the children on your list as well as any Music Teachers you or children know.
