Fun In Motion Toys: Shashibo

Fun In Motion Toys who sent me Shashibo – Spaced Out and Gartel Shashibo: Confetti in exchange for this review and a spot in our Fathers Day Gift Guide.

Charlie has been having more and more trouble staying focused in school. I can’t get Charlie to sit still and he always thinks he needs to be on the phone or his Play Station.

No photo description available.

To keep Charlie focused on what were working on school work I knew I needed something to keep his mind occupied and his hands busy. I tried Art Supplies which worked for a little bit but they Charlie would get tired of drawing.

I was at my wits end until Shashibo arrived I saw it looked like a Rubik’s Cube which I haven’t ever liked playing with. When Charlie and I begin working on our lessons for Planets I set out Shashibo – Spaced Out.

Charlie came and sat down at the dinning room table and took his books out. Curiosity got to Charlie as he picked up Shashibo – Spaced Out. Saw Charlie turning it over and over in his hands.

Charlie asked me what Shashibo – Spaced Out was and I explained to Charlie what it was and how it worked. Before I knew what Charlie was going he was playing with the Cube.

As Charlie got more and more involved I begin to ask him questions from today’s lessons. Without Charlie realizing what was happening he was answering the questions.

We moved onto math and Charlie showed me ways he could use Spaced Out to figure out math problems and for reading class. Then Charlie mentioned in cooking class he would like to make Stained Glass cookies in the colors of Spaced Out.

Shashibo may not be a true Board Game but once again you can see how toys and games can help when Homeschooling our children. If you haven’t seen Shashibo you should check them out as soon as possible.

Gartel Shashibo: Confetti

Gartel Shashibo: Confetti

David is off tomorrow and during school I will get out Confetti and Charlie can show David how we use these in our classroom. We can hold a contest with both cubes and see who can work there’s the fastest.

SHASHIBO recently featured on the TODAY SHOW in a segment on the “11 Best Sellers of 2020.”  It’s been compared to RUBIK’S CUBE as an addictive (in a positive way) brain teaser and is #1 in that category at AMAZON, WALMART, BARNES & NOBLE, as well as many hundreds of specialty toy stores throughout the country.  And as the pandemic continues to keep so many of us housebound, it’s an ideal plaything for the entire family, and especially ideal for kids with autism.

Check out these links below to see where they’ve been featured:

I also would like to get Shashibo – Undersea for my niece Lily for her Birthday because she loves the Sea. For my nephew Jason I would like to get him Shashibo – Elements.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
