#HomeschoolWithBoardGames Chroma Cube

Good evening, how are you? I thought I would share a new type of game for our series on #HomeschoolWithBoardGames Chroma Cube. Have you or your family played this Game?

Chroma Cube

Unblock your mind with Chroma Cube! The 12 wooden cubes may look innocent enough while sitting in their tray, but figuring out what cube belongs in which spot can be quite the challenge.

Try to decipher the cryptic clues on any of the 25 puzzle cards that accompany this set to determine how the colors should be arranged! If you’re stumped, don’t worry! The answers to each puzzle are on the back of the card.

Charlie let me know before we began playing Chroma Cube that we could take it down to my mother in laws and have my niece Dixie go over the colors of the cubes with us.

Helping her learn her colors then when were done with colors we could show her the different shapes teaching her those as well. Then David pointed out the numbers on the cards and said we could go over them with Dixie.

Then when we returned home Charlie said we could go over which lessons he could learn from Chroma Cube from reading the cards for reading class. Too creating math problems using the cards.

Reading:

Set the game up and read the instructions to the people playing with you. Ask them questions to make sure they understood what they will be doing.

Then have them ask you questions so we know you understand what is happening.

Math:

Count all the game pieces then create 5 math problems for someone in your family to do.

Then have them create 5 math problems for you to work out.

Drama Class:

Take one of the cards and act out what it says for your parents.

Or pretend your a color and tell us what show us what it feels like to be that color and why.

Music Class:

Create a Jingle or a Song about the Game and perform it for the players before you start to play.

Cooking Class:

Create a snack to serve during the game that represents the game. This could be a color from the game or a shape.

Charlie said he would prepare Popcorn and add candies in the colors and shapes of the Game or Ice Cream depending on what his guests would want.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
