#HGG Sponsor Review The New York Times Store

This is a follow up review for The New York Times Store. As I was sent a personalized “Pin Your Journey” Map in exchange for a spot in this year’s #HGG. But the thoughts in the review are all mine and my families alone.

So on Christmas Eve after David and Charlie went to bed I went and grabbed our map out of my office and I laid it out on the kitchen table. So the dogs wouldn’t bother it. And I posted a note from Santa and pinned where he comes from and showed how far he was from us. And let Charlie know he was worn out and couldn’t make it up through the Fire Place and the dog’s wouldn’t let him inside the house so he needed to look outside. And that is where I had his new Scooter I got Charlie for Christmas. As David didn’t know I had gotten it for him. So I had his grandfather put it together for me and bring it up and put it in our yard.

And once David got up to come into the kitchen to make breakfast and he saw the Map he sat right down and to check it out. And asked me where I had gotten it from. And why I had picked it out. And I explained why and he got very quiet and grabbed a piece of paper and asked me where all Suzzane and I wanted to visit. And he pinned them on the map as part of a wish list for us. Then he picked out where he would like to visit. As well as where Charlie would like to visit. So now we have a dream map started. And it will be fun to see if we get to those places.

And until we do Charlie and I research them for school and find places we would like to see in each City and write up a report about them so if we do go we have our itinerary planned out. And if we wanted to we can include our families dreams as well so if something happens to them Charlie will always know where they would have liked to travel. And hopefully one day he will be able to.

For the traveler – a personalized “Pin Your Journey” Map to map a couple’s memories or family vacations: Pin Your Journey  as supposed to get one other item from The New York Store and it didn’t arrive. But I hope it does soon as I know it would make the perfect Valentine’s Gift for David and it is the  For the beer enthusiast – a personalized beer tub: http://nyti.ms/1SYcGS5     ($84.95) as David loves his beer. And it would allow him to put his keys and change in and he wouldn’t spend hours everyday looking for them.

So today I would like to give the New York Times store a huge thank you for working with us in this year’s #HGG and I hope we can work together in the future.
