I have always Loved Gilmore Girls

I have always”LOVED” the television show Gilmore Girls. So  I was broken hearted when they took Gilmore Girls off the air. Especially since they left us hanging and we  didn’t know if Luke and Lorelai got married. Or what had happened to Rori.

So as soon as I heard Luke’s Dinner would be coming to coffee shops around the country I knew I needed to find out which States they would be setting up in. Then one I found out they would be in DFW I was totally over the moon as there is 5 Coffee Shops hosting Luke’s Dinner in  Dallas/ Fort Worth on October 5th.

As soon as I found out I told David he had to take off and take me to one of the locations. And we just might need to “Camp-out” overnight to make sure I can get inside. Because if I don’t make it I am going to be one unhappy camper!!

So is there any Gilmore fans out there in Dallas/ Fort Worth that would like to go with me on October 8th to one of the Coffee Shops to see Luke’s Dinner in person? And once the revamped series “Gilmore Girls: A year in the Life” begins on Nov. 25 would you like to come over and watch it with me?

Now  if your not close to me here is the 5 locations in DFW that will be hosting Luke’s Dinner. And let me know which one your close to and that you might attend. As I am thinking about checking the one out in Arlington.

  • Method Coffee in Dallas
  • Coffee House Café in Dallas
  • Buon Giorno in Fort Worth
  • iJava & Chai in Plano
  • Savor Coffee Bar & Eatery in Arlington

At the one-day only event, patrons will feel just like Rory and Lorelai as they’re treated to free cups of coffee courtesy of Netflix.

Oct. 5 is the 16th anniversary of Gilmore Girls and Netflix is set to air the premiere episode of the revamped series “Gilmore Girls: A year in the Life” on Nov. 25.

The faux Luke’s Diner will be open from 7 a.m. to noon. The Austin Eater reports diner workers are expected to be dressed in Luke’s Diner aprons and t-shirts,

There’s also the possibility that baristas will wear blue baseball caps and flannel. However, that’s solely up to them.

Since I shared with you that “I have always Loved Gilmore Girls” what is one show you love and wish would come to a City close to you? Because I also would go where ever Friends came to.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
