King Tut and Ancient Egypt!

Charlie doesn’t know much about King Tut or Ancient Egypt other than what he sees on TV. Then the other day we was online and Charlie let me know he would like to study King Tut. I went online and found the following lesson Mummies & King Tut (Ancient Egypt Homeschool Unit Study Day 2)

Inside Mummies & King Tut our students will learn to use logic and listening/visual skills to learn about King Tut and Mummies. They will discover challenges in wrapping by creating a mummy craft.

For additional studies I found Ancient Egypt Activities for Kids {Crafts & Printable} on The Natural Homeschool. I like this new post because inside this post they share books we can read to learn more about King Tut.We all know Charlie needs to read as much as possible and having a set of books to go to saves me time.

I have been wanting to check into Lapbooks to use in our homeschool once I figure out how they work. I am proud to share with you Ancient Egypt Unit and Lapbook from Homeschool Share because this will give me the opportunity to see a lapbook up close and if it is something Charlie and I would enjoy using in our Homeschool.

Notebooking Pages has journaling pages called Ancient Times Notebooking Pages. I can’t wait to check out as well. Ancient Times Notebooking Pages will give Charlie the chance to practice both his handwriting and spelling.

Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
