Our Mobile Home

For me when my dad died, and I invested his money into the mobile home we were living in I never thought we would move. Then our landlord Tommy who Charlie thought of as family sold the mobile home right out from underneath us. Tommy’s bother David bought the trailer and even though he knew our family and how close his nephew and Charlie where he made it impossible for us to remain in our home.

This photo was from years ago and I honestly don’t even remember where it was taken as we’ve been on so many adventures together. Through the time we’ve been living in the apartment Charlie and Bradley started to drift apart but would still hang out at times. Which I missed B spending days with us at a time and our talks which we hadn’t had in a while.

Bradley began to get into trouble including shoplifting Charlie said to having Alcohol in his backpack at school. Even though I don’t want to admit it I’ve even been told B was Vaping. Which I know no, child is perfect his cousins do this thing and also smoke Pot which I hate more than anything.

This weekend we went to take Charlie over to B’s to hang out. When we pulled up the police were there. My heart feel to the ground. I’ve been so worried about B and what might be going on. The next day Charlie and William went to Mrs. Mary’s B’s grandmother to see if B was there. Tommy let the boys know he was in the hospital getting evaluated.

I am going to leave the story here as it isn’t mine to tell what happened and why. What I am going to do is thank the LORFD who I had been angry at for taking our home away from us. But now I know he was protecting my son by getting him away from a toxic situation. Charlie is a follower and even though he knows our rules I am not sure Charlie wouldn’t have followed the boys and tried some of the things they were doing. What I am going to do is ask the LORD to wrap my son in his arms and keep him safe.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
