Ultimate Blog Challenge April 2020 Day 2

Good morning, welcome to the Ultimate Blog Challenge April 2020 Day 2. This mornings prompt asked us Who Do You Admire & Why? We was told to pick a friend, family member, colleague, business, or whatever/whomever and write a blog post about the quality you most admire in them. Or write about the qualities you most admire in others or aspire to in your own life.

As soon as I saw this post I knew I wanted to share the Truck Doctors, Nurses and Doctors and all of the Essential Workers who are keeping things going while we are all inside.

I have several Essential Workers inside my family. Do you? First there is David’s Uncle LC who is a Long Distance Truck Driver and he is here as he awaits a load to return home.

The other day Charlie and I was able to go down to Granny Sherry’s and to thank LC in person. As he loads his truck this morning to return home I would like to ask everyone to Pray for him to make it safely.

My sister who works in a Medical Office and takes care of the billing from doctors and hospitals. She travels to Plano each day and she is the only one in her home working at the moment.

David who works at the Airport loading food onto the planes. David has been my rock through all of this. Not, only is he going to work each day but he has been cleaning and ordaining our home when he gets home.

David cooks so I can Homeschooling Charlie and his friend Bradley. Then he cleans the kitchen and begins on a room in the house so I can rest since I haven’t been feeling well.

Do you have essential workers in our home or are you a Essential Worker if so I would like to say thank you. I hope your safe and that your enjoying your time inside your home and that you have everything you need.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates

  1. A very deserved admiration for all the essential workers and businesses. In my mind they ought to be honored everyday with or without CO-VID 19.

    1. I agree with you and there is so many people haven’t even
thought of that should be thanked including Teachers
      and Prinicipals.

  2. All the essential workers are amazing. Thank you for sharing.

I have someone who is an essential worker in the house – he works on heating and air units. He prefers to go out and be useful.

Thankfully I’m able to stay home and work, as well as homeschool.

  3. Thanks for sharing your inspirations. And thank you for all those Essential Workers. I’m also grateful they are not among the 10 million who have lost their jobs.
