Ultimate Blog Challenge April 2020 Day 5

Good morning, as I work on the blog this morning I wanted to get today’s Ultimate Blog Challenge April 2020 Day 6 up before David gets home from work.

This mornings prompt asked us to share a piece of advice with everyone about something we know and can teach other. As I thought about this all that I could think of is what’s happening in the world and that it is Palm Sunday.

Palm Sunday commemorates the entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem (Matthew 21:1–9), when palm branches were placed in his path, before his arrest on Holy Thursday and his crucifixion on Good Friday. It thus marks the beginning of Holy Week, the final week of Lent.

I’m not going to Preach to anyone or ask you to Pray because I know there is people that don’t believe in the Lord. What I will ask you is to be safe. Stay inside call your friends and family and check on them.

Happy Sunday blessings. New ecard. The best greeting card for You.

If you have to go out wear mask and wash your hands. If you know a Essential Worker send them a thank you note letting them know how much you appreciate them.

Talk to you children about what is happening and ask them if they have any questions or fears. Because my son has begun to have Nightmares from the news and things he is seeing online.

I know being inside is inconvenient but this is the opportunity to get to know your family. Any undone jobs can be tackled and we can bring our families back to the dinner table.

Easter may not look like it did in the past but there is no, reason we can’t celebrate with our family. You may not have a traditional Ester Dinner or be able to color eggs but you can make dinner special just by being together.

Draw and color Easter Eggs and hide them throughout your house and put notes on the Eggs of things you can do once we can go back outside. Don’t forget to include cooking dinner together and game nights. Because we shouldn’t forget ths time together.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates

  1. I agree – the norm definitely is going to look different once things get put back together in life for many people.

I can’t believe Easter is a week from today. I told Ronnie yesterday we needed to put something together for Caiden – guess I’ll look online and possibly if I feel up to it, make him something from my crafts.

I hope things settle down for C soon….
