ALADDIN-THEMED STREET BAZAAR!

I would like to let you know itshard to surprise my family when it comes to movies. Thanks to Alamo DraftHouse this week I was able to do that when I let Charlie and David know I wanted to attend an Aladdin-Themed Street Bazaar.

I let Charlie know we would be going to ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE NORTH RICHLAND HILLS who was celebrating a whole new world of Cinema. Charlie being a typical boy said “oh mom” I don’t want to go.

Once we stopped and picked up Aiden. Charlie started to get more excited. I let Charlie know he could pick out a movie he wanted to watch because I would be seeing Aladdin with my best friend Debbie.

David had been wanting to see John Wick 3 and since Godzilla wasn’t out yet the did chose John Wick 3. Once we pulled into the parking lot Charlie saw all the Bounce Houses being set up Charlie asked if they could go play. I said that would be fine.

I didn’t tell Charlie there would be Face Painting or that they were bringing in a Camel and Monkey. I wanted to surprise Charlie and David. I went on inside and purchased our tickets to the movie.

As I walked in I saw the display for a Aladdin photo op. Surprisingly enough I was able to get Charlie and Aiden to take a pic By the time I had purchased our tickets they even had Jasmine sitting on the rug. I had to get her photo to share with my niece.

I went back outside to find David sitting on the Patio having a Soda. I asked David where the boys were and he said they were playing Games in the play area I didn’t even know existed.

I would like to tell you the Play Area is a true Hidden Treasure. I will share more about this area in another post. Along with our thoughts on When You Wish Upon A Star Disney-oke. As well Aladdin and John Wick 3 which I did find time to see.

Charlie and Aiden had so much fun seeing the Camel and being able to touch him. Then they wanted to watch the Monkey which could be temperamental until given a Sucker. Just like Charlie and Aiden.

David went to watch the Parrots but by that time my friend Debbie had arrived and I wanted to give her a tour of Alamo DraftHouse and all the vintage Disney Movie posters in the Hallway along with Jasmine.

I went over the Kids club with Debbie. Then I reminded Debbie to sign up to receive Text messages on her phone. Once we were threw walking around. Debbie and I went back on the Patio and just relaxed until time for our movie.

David, Charlie and I stayed until 10 pm that evening and we still didn’t see all I wanted to see. I was able to see a bit of the Fire Eater Performance -Themed Dance Performance but Charlie and David missed them because they were in there movie.

I must tell you these Dancers kept me on the edge of my seat from wearing Swords on there heads to standing on glasses and performing. I’m so glad Charlie wasn’t outside. I could see Charlie wanting to try this at home which I wouldn’t recommend.

I would like to tell you my family has visited a lot of Theaters in Dallas/ Fort Worth but Alamo DraftHouse Fort Worth is our favorite place to see movies.

I would like to let you know we can have dinner and there is a Kids Menu, hang out in the Bar or sit out back and let Charlie play with his friends. Alamo DraftHouse is the perfect place for my family this Summer because there is something for everyone and I could get my work done.

I will be sharing Charlie and David’s thoughts on JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 3 – PARABELLUM this weekend along with my thoughts on Aladdin. Then if things work out the way I would like them to although God may have different plans for my family.

David and Charlie plan on seeing 2D GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS. I’m seeing ROCKETMAN. I will be going by myself so I can sing and drool over Elton without anyone telling me to stop.
