I must admit I felt “LOVED” this Christmas.

I must admit I felt “LOVED” this Christmas.

In the past I have felt like a stepchild as no, one would think of me. And when I took Charlie shopping for everyone else’s presents and he finished. He took the rest of his money and purchased a toy for himself. But not this year Charlie pampered me. And I must admit I felt loved this Christmas. And I haven’t felt like that in a long time.

So I would like to say Thank you to both Charlie and David. As David had to take Charlie shopping and I know it almost broke the bank David says. But hey, I am worth it for all I do for them. And everyone else as well.

So today I thought I would share with you a couple of the items they got me. And it is hard to believe but Charlie picked them out. And yes, I loved them. And no, I didn’t have to take anything back. It all fit perfectly. And if I must say so myself I looked beautiful on Christmas day.

So the first item I would like to talk to you about is my boots and I love love love them. And I had been wanting them for a while. But David didn’t think I would wear them so we never got them. But boy has he been wrong as it is all I have been wearing. And they are so warm. And so comfortable. I like the brown as it is different from anything I have had in the past. And I like knowing they also come in black. As I will pick up a pair of them soon since I mostly wear black. If you haven’t had a chance to try these boots out you should. As I am sure you will love them just as much as I did.

Then they picked out this beautiful green shirt for me. And it is a very different style from any other shirts I have. So I wasn’t sure about it when I opened it up. But after putting it on I found I liked it a lot. And I do not wear green but after seeing it on my I may start. Plus I wasn’t sure about the sleeves as they only come down half way but after wearing it all day Christmas day and not having to push the sleeves up I love it. And will be looking for more shirts like it. And I love knowing it came from Wal Mart’s as I am in there a couple times a week so I should be able to find more shirts like it.

Then one day when I was walking in Wal Mart’s with David and Charlie I found this Shawl/Poncho and said I liked it. And David asked if I would wear it. And I said yes. Never expecting to get one. And then low and behold on Christmas Eve I got it. And I am so  glad they went and got it for me as I use it at the kitchen table when I am working. And it keeps me warm As I stay cold. And now we do not have to run the heat. Which means we will be able to save money. So if you would like a Shawl/Poncho like this one check out your local Walmart.

Then they also got me a new pair of black pants and I was afraid they would either be too big or too little but they wasn’t. And they fit me perfectly. Plus they got Petites so the length is perfect. And I do not walk on them. Nor do I have to hem them not that I would. But I could if I had to. Since my granny taught me to sew.

So if we go visit my dad in January I will be ready and I will look like a million bucks, Or if I attend Blogger events I will not embarrass David or Charlie by the way I am dressed. So come on 2016 I am ready for you. And I am dressed for it. So let’s get out there and take over the world.

Now this is just a little bit about why I must admit I felt “LOVED” this Christmas.Be watching as I share the other items David and Charlie got me this Christmas. As well as my PJ’s from my sister. As she picked me up a pair of Snoopy ones from Walmarts as well.

So as you can see my family loves us some Walmarts and we would be lost without it. Although if I must confess I miss my KMarts and wish they would come back.

Thank you from the Cates Family
