Food Network Magazine The Recipe-A-Day Kids Cookbook: 365 Fun, Easy Treats

You may or may not know in Charlie’s Home Economics Class he is taking a Cooking Course where Charlie has to cook several times a week. But we seem to be making the same dishes over and over. I am tired of that. When we were in 5 Below the other day I found Food Network Magazine The Recipe-A-Day Kids Cookbook: 365 Fun, Easy Treats (Food Network Magazine’s Kids Cookbooks Book 3) which I purchased giving us a new recipe to make every day.

Having 365 recipes will allow David and I to make new dishes for us to try as well. Because Charlie doesn’t have to cook every single day. But the cookbook will get Charlie out of the house as we pick out which recipes were going to make each week. Write out the grocery list and go grocery shopping as Charlie will be collecting what we need to prepare the recipes we will be cooking. While David and I do the rest of the grocery shopping.

About:

By using Food Network Magazine The Recipe-A-Day Kids Cookbook: 365 Fun, Easy Treats Charlie will get a reading lesson in as he reads the grocery list. Language arts/ Spelling as he creates a shopping list. Math as he adds the ingredients up because some of them will be used in more than one recipe.

Would you like to join us in our Cooking Class this week? There will be plenty of food to sample. We will even furnish the beverages. If you have a favorite recipe send it me and we can create it the day you come over for snacks and movies or board game.
