30 Days to Love: Daily Meditations, Inspirations & Actions for Creating a Life of Love

This is a review for 30 Days to Love: Daily Meditations, Inspirations & Actions for Creating a Life of Love which I received a physical copy of in exchange for this review.

For me this has been an off week. I’ve been feeling down and not wanting to do anything. I hear myself telling me I am not good enough. I don’t do anything. I am a failure as a wife and mom. If I had been a better mom Suzzie would be here. Charlie would be in school and have loads of friends. Which can and will lead me to depression and not getting out of bed.

I stopped walking and I’ve been overeating. None of this is anyone else fault but my own. I knew things had to change and the other way that would happen is to ask the Lord for help. I decided for the first time in days I was going to get up and work. I went last night and picked out a stack of items I needed to go through and see if they had been reviewed.

In the middle of the stack was 30 Days to Love: Daily Meditations, Inspirations & Actions for Creating a Life of Love a cute little pocket book. I got busy but kept finding myself glancing at the book and the heart on the cover. The read brought back memories of my mom and mother n law because this is not only there favorite color but Charlies.

During lunch I set the book on the Coffee Table in front of me. I found myself reaching for the remote and turned the T V off. I opened the book up and began to thumb through it. I was stopped by the description inside the front page which reminded me of my best friend Debbie who has felt like this all of her life. I knew once I finished reading this book, I would need to share it with her and her family.

i read through the chapters and became intrigued with “be a friend” which I try and do everyday. Then I set the book down but knew I needed to share this chapter with Charlie because his friends are going through so much and Charlie has been pulling away from them. Which isn’t good because they might need a friend now more than ever.

Inside the book you will find a quote from Anna Taylor who reminds us to love ourselves enough to set boundaries which I have trouble doing. But now that I’ve been reminded to love myself I plan on setting boundaries not only in my personal life but also with my work. I hope you do the same as you will feel much better and happier.

I love how the Author ask us questions which we can print out to look at on a daily basis. As well as remind us we are ” FLAWSOME” which means we recognize our flaws but recognizes we are awesome which Charlie and I need to hear on a daily basis. If you remind us we will remind you are as well.

The Author gives us 30 days to love and we all know it takes 27 days to make a habit into a daily occurrence and that is just what I will be doing with this book. I hope you will as well because not only can adults learn from 30 DAYS TO LOVE but children as well. Which is why Charlie and I will be using this self-help book in our Homeschool Home Economics Health Class.
