Charlie and I would use Bicycle Playing Cards for Science Class, adding for Math class, Art Class and drawing and the list goes on and one. Do you use Playing Cards when teaching your children?

Discussion Questions:

1. How many cards are in a deck of cards?
2. What are the suits in a deck of cards called?
3. How many cards are in each Suite of cards?
4. When and where were playing cards invented?
5. Where was the first deck of cards first appear?

Queen

Playing Cards

Shuffle

Art/ Writing Class

Create a story about one of the Kings and Queens in the deck of cards. You must illustate your story.

Music Class:

Put your story to words and act it our for Drama Class

Math:

Take a Deck of Cards and remove the Jack, Ace and Queen. Then hand a notebook and pen to each player. Take turns drawing two cards and the person next to you will have you do a Math problem. They can chose Adding, Subtraction, Multiplication or Division.

if you get the problem right you keep going. If you miss you must give your cards to the person who asked the question.

At the end of the game the person with the most cards wins.

Physical Education:

Draw a card and that is how many Exercises you will be required to do.

1 Jumping Jack

2 Push Ups

3 Squats

4 Jumping Jacks

5 Hula Hoop

6 Dance Around the room 6 times

7 Ride your Scooter to the end of the street 7 times

8 Shoot the Basketball 8 times

9 Throw the Football 9 times

10 Walk around your neighborhood 10 times

Jack Pick your favorite 3 Exercises and do the required Exercises

Queen Today is a Day of Rest grab your favorite book about Sports, or Exercise and Read for 30 minutes. Then you must share what you learned with your teacher.

King You must do every Exercise on the List one time

Ace You get to chose which Exercise you want to do and do it for 30 minutes
