I don’t know about you but I was excited for a New Year and a New President. But with all the Stores closing around us I think I would prefer to go back to last year. Everything I loved and used with my daughter is shutting its doors. By the end of the year there isn’t going to be anything to remember my daughter with.
First was Big Lots which closed in the Haltom City Paring Lot a couple years ago but we could still go to Hurst or Watauga or Arlington to shop at Big Lots even though it was a little far. That all comes to a end of February 28th when Big Lots closes for good.
Next was Party City and as far as I know they’ve already closed. This is where I would always go for Party Supplies. I purchased my Skeleton’s for Halloween here and Charlies graduation decorations. There is no, other store like this in Fort Worth. Where are we supposed to go for Party Decorations now?
Last night Movie Tavern in Beford closed it’s doors for the last time in Bedford. I’ve always brough Suzzane and Charlie her to the Movies. They were the Theater to show Retro Christmas Movies and had a Kids Club during the Summer.
They do have other locations open but none of them are close to me and it wouldn’t be the same visiting those locations. Charlie even said mom, Movie Tavern is getting rid of mine and my friends childhood which is true.
Through all the sadness Haltom City is finally getting some new Stores in the Haltom City Plaza which we needed more than you know. If you have the opportunity stop by our Wing Stop and in a couple months we will have fiVe BELoW.
Even with all the Store Closures and new Stores opening I know the Lord is going to take care of us. But join me today in a moment of silence for all the Stores closing and say a Pray for all the employees who will be looking for work.
