Coloring has always been calming and something my family has done together my whole life. Including my mom when she was here. As for my dad I don’t know if he would color with us, but he was an amazing artist and used to draw pictures on my lunch sacks. The plan brown bags we would take our lunch to school in.
I couldn’t wait to show David the new coloring book which you will find inside our Christmas Gift Guide 2025: Grow Through What You Go Through: A Mindful Coloring Book Paperback – Coloring Book, January 7, 2025 by Shauna Attendorn (Author) which reminded me of #Hippie times. Which I wish I had lived through. How about you? This is a coloring book like no, other because its a mindful coloring book which I needed more than ever this week.
David loved the Flower on the cover of the book and like me it took him back to the 70’s. David said when I colored in the book I should use neon or fluorescent colors which I agreed with. I spent hours at the store the other day looking for some but didn’t find any. I need to go to Walmart or look on Amazon because this amazing coloring book needs colored.
I liked finding out the coloring book is made of hard cardboard so it isn’t flimsy and the pages will not fall out. When you open the coloring book you see pretty white Flowers on a orange background. That reminded me I need to get up and walk. Would you want to go with me?
Grow Through What You Go Through A Mindful Coloring Book the Author shows us how creativity meets positivity. I like how each page shares a inspiring message with us along with a piece to color. The pages can be hung up after they’ve been colored to remind us to remain positive at all times.
Charlie’s favorite page reminded him to take care of his mind and it has a cute little heart and his friend on the page. Charlie wants to hang it up in his room. David has been struggling at work so for him I would like to color “Trust that good things are coming” to hang up in his office.
My favorite pages reminded us that “taking care of yourself is productive.” Because not only do I forget to take care of myself so do David and Charlie. How about you? There is so much more in this book that we can color for a while and not run out of things to do. Would you like to join us in a coloring party?
