I sat down this afternoon to read Disney Princess Block (An Abrams Block Book): Enchantment for Fans of Every Age and I was amazed at all the teaching moments I found in this book. If we had been #Homeschooling still I would have added the book to our studies on the Princesses or Disney.
I loved finding out they included both Snow White my favorite Disney Princess and Suzzie’s favorite Cinderella. But there are Aladdin, Jasmin and the Genie as well that captured Charlie’s attention. One of the teaching moments for my family was looking up a few of the Princesses I didn’t remember.
On Easter my family is going to host a movie night and we will be reading Disney Princess Block (An Abrams Block Book): Enchantment for Fans of Every Age and picking out movies based on the Princesses in the book like The Little Mermaid.
I wish you could have seen the illustrations in the book. Throughout the book there is cutouts that lets you see things on the next page. I can see little girls spending hours on end reading this book and playing dress-up based on the Princesses.
I believe all schools should have Disney Princess Block (An Abrams Block Book): Enchantment for Fans of Every Age in there library. Remember even though the book is about Princesses and its for younger children adults can learn from the book and little boys can learn from the story just as well as girls.
