Reading to children has always been one of my favorite ways to spend time with them. My friend Tara will have her first grandson soon and could use Play for Kids to record books for her Daughter to read to her grandson when she isn’t home.
As well as my friend Nancy who has been diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer and were not sure what is going to happen. She could record books using Play for Kids for all three of her grandsons to read when she isn’t filling well and they want to hear Nancy’s voice or the parents don’t have time to read to the kids.
I wish I had knew about Play for Kids before my parents passed away and I would have had them read books for Charlie’s children if he ever has any. To be prepared I plan on purchasing one book a week for me to read and one for David’s mom to read then if Charlie does have children he will have a full library for his children.
I liked learning we can record up to 12 different books using Play for Kids and use the coordinating stickers for the cover of the book or the pages we’ve read. Play For Kids holds up to 2.5 hours or audio which is almost enough for a weeks worth of bedtime stories.
Once the books have been recorded they will not go away so our children can hear there favorite stories over and over. One of my favorite features was the book clip so we can clip things on and not lose them. Play for Kids used a rechargeable battery which will save parents money. Charlie liked the headphone port because he can listen to the books without disturbing the people around him. Yes, Charlie is almost 18 but he uses Play for Kids to record books for his dad because David can’t read.
