I would like to share a new addition to our Christmas Gift Guide 2025: It’s Time for Christmas a children’s board book Illustrations by Kathrin Fehrl we received in exchange for this review. Inside the post is my affiliate links. If you click on the links and make a purchase I will make a small percentage from the products you purchase.

I sat down this morning to read It’s Time for Christmas even though I believe in one holiday at a time and don’t like to read Christmas books until Thanksgiving Evening having this story was like having a big hug full of love and Christmas cheer.

Even without the words the illustrations tell a story of Santa’s sleigh being filled for his run on Christmas Eve. Yu should see all the Gifts wrapped in pretty paper with the Elves help. There was a Snowmen as well. The Story ends at Santa’s workshop.

Once you finish It’s Time for Christmas I know the kids will ask for you to read this board book again which is perfect for Toddlers and up but even adults and yes, teens will enjoy the Story and all of the illustrations.

If my family had been #Homeschooling still you can bet It’s Time for Christmas would have been in our library. Instead I’ve saved it with the Christmas books we display for any children who visit to read. Please share It’s Time for Christmas with your friends and family.

It’s Time For Christmas would make a fun teachers Gift and also a Librarian Gift. I will be checking at our Library to see if they have It’s Time for Christmas to rent if not I’ve going to suggest they order it for children to read during the Holidays.

About:

An ode to Christmas and Santa’s workshop, this colorful, chunky, die-cut board book is a work of art meant to be displayed face-out on nursery bookshelves.

Welcome to Santa’s workshop on Christmas Eve!

Wake up sleepy heads.
It’s time to get up and bake
cookies and gingerbread.
The little elves mix butter, sugar, and flour.
They are baking batches of treats by the hour.

Hard at work, each elf makes hundreds of toys. The workshop is full of excitement with building, painting, and lots of noise.

The gifts are stacking up as far as the eye can see. Look at them all! I wonder which one might be for me…

Santa’s reindeer and sleigh are all packed and ready to go. Let’s wave goodbye to them before it starts to snow! Every page turn reveals a new layer to Kathrin Fehrl’s adorable illustrations of elves baking cookies, making toys, and loading Santa’s sleigh for Christmas Eve, with a fun seek-and-find for each scene. Perfect for Christmas lovers of all ages, this sweet story is a celebration of one of the best times of the year.
