I wanted to share a new children’s book with you called War and Peace: A BabyLit® Opposites Primer (BabyLit Classics) by Jennifer Adams by and also Allison Oliver I received a copy of the book in exchange for this review. First, I need to let you know I’ve never read War and Peace but having War and Peace: A BabyLit® Opposites Primer a copy of the Toddlers version of War and Peace I couldn’t wait to dive into this new children’s book which is Part of: Little Poet (23 books).
If I had a Toddler, I would invest in all 23 books for them to add to the library because the books could be used by Pre-K and also Kindergarteners. David said he couldn’t wait to look through the book because he likes the Eagle on the cover of the book.
The first page had me wanting to sit outside around the Fire Pit while I read the book. On each page is one word and on the opposite page is a contradiction to the first word. Like hot/ cold. the book tells children what Solders do, and we learn about near/far.
Then we find out about Servants and what they do. We learn about “Pierre” who is going to become “Count Bezukhov”. Then we meet a lady at a Ball. Throughout the book is many learning opportunities that will keep children entertained and adults on their toes.
About the book:
