I wanted to share a recipe for my Grandmothers Hamburger Steak with Onions. This was one of the dishes my grandmother would make for our dinners when we would go visit. Dorie would make a huge pan of Fried Taters and Brown Gravy to go with the Hamburger Steaks.
The other night David made the Hamburger Steaks with Onions which means the Onions is inside the Meat and most of the time he makes extra Onions to put on top of the Hamburger Steaks. With the Hamburger Steaks David made Idaho Instant Mashed Potatoes and Brown Gravy. I’ve included my grandmother’s recipe for you.

Recipe
1 pound of Hamburger Meat or ever how much you need to feed your family. Onions cut and diced into small pieces. I Egg A little bit of Flour to help hold the Meat together. (David doesn’t use either) Season Salt for the Meat we usually use Lawery’s I have put Worteschure Sause in the patties, but it isn’t necessary
Mix all the Onions, Flour and Egg into the Meat Heat your skillet up with Grease or Olive Oil we use Canola Oil. Cook the Meat for 5 minutes. Turn the Meat over and cook for another 5 minutes or until done.
Serve with Vegetables of your choice we usually serve Mashed Potato’s or Fried Taters with Bbrown Gravy and Black Eyed Peas or Green Beans.
