Charlie and I are excited to share another question from Charlie’s would you rather challenge February 13, 2026. The questions are brought to us from the children’s book The Ultimate Book of Would You Rather Questions: 1001 Family-Friendly Challenges for Kids, Teens and Adults by Kimberly McLeod (Author).

We use the questions in the book to get conversation flowing in our home and in the past, we used the book for free reading time and also in our Creative Writing Class for #Homeschool. You can do the same or use the book for free reading time. Or share the questions on your website and social media sites to get people talking.

Would you rather have class on a Pirate ship or in a spacecraft that orbits Earth? Why?

It might be fun to be on a Pirate ship but if the Pirates get mad at us, they might make us walk the plank so I would rather have a class in a spaceship that orbits the Earth. Then I could see the Stars and Moon up close.

Charlie said he would pass on the Pirate ship because he can’t swim that well and is more interested in Space than the Ocean so he would rather take a class in a Spacecraft and orbit the Earth. David said he would rather be on a Pirate Ship because he would like to meet Pirates face to face.

Would you rather have class on a Pirate ship or in a spacecraft that orbits Earth? Why?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
