Holidays in my home is hit or miss but I would like to change that this year and do something special for David. There are so many things David would like to have that I created Father’s Day Gifts Under $25: Thoughtful Ideas Dad Will Actually Use. Charlie and Bradley can help me get for David without breaking the bank.
As we prepare our Father’s Day celebration, I wanted to remind you it’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the dads, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who make a difference in our lives. While it’s easy to think a meaningful gift has to be expensive, some of the best Father’s Day gifts come from the heart and cost less than $25.
One of my favorite Father’s Day gift ideas is a good book. Whether Dad enjoys history, sports, biographies, faith-based reading, or outdoor adventures, a book provides hours of enjoyment and relaxation. Pair the book with a favorite snack or a mug of coffee, and you’ve created a thoughtful gift basket without spending a fortune.
Coffee lovers may appreciate a new coffee mug, gourmet coffee, flavored creamers, or even a simple travel tumbler. These gifts are practical and something Dad can use every day. For David not only would I get David Coffee but Ghost Energy drinks even though I don’t think people should drink energy drinks as a mom we have to pick our battles and this is one I’m choosing to give in on.
For dads who enjoy working with their hands, consider small tool sets, tape measures, work gloves, flashlights, or organizers. Many of these items can be found at discount stores like Ollies or Dollar Tree while still being useful additions to a workshop or garage.
Outdoor dads often appreciate fishing accessories, camping supplies, pocket notebooks, reusable water bottles, or grilling tools. These gifts encourage them to enjoy the hobbies they already love. Also, games like Horseshoes which David loves can be a lot of fun.
Movie lovers can enjoy a family movie night basket filled with popcorn, candy, and a favorite film. Gamers may appreciate accessories, gift cards, or gaming-themed collectibles. For David I would add Beer and Beer themed snacks.
At the end of the day, Father’s Day isn’t about how much money you spend. It’s about showing appreciation and spending time together. A thoughtful gift, a handwritten card, and quality family time often mean more than anything purchased in a store.
What affordable Father’s Day gifts has your family given over the years? We’d love to hear your ideas.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
