Grateful, Thankful, and Blessed: New Beginnings Building a New Dream: Trusting God Through Change

The Mommies Reviews

In any business starting over is never easy even when you know a change is necessary, there can still be moments of fear, uncertainty, and wondering if you are making the right decision. That is where faith comes in and a whole lot of PRAYING and talking to David and Charlie.

As I begin this new chapter with my blog, I’ve had many emotions. There is excitement because I can see new opportunities ahead, but there is also the nervous feeling that comes with stepping into something unfamiliar. But when I look back, I can see God’s hand guiding me through every step.

The pieces are coming together. The logo is complete. The hosting is in place. The foundation is being built. The content is coming together faster than I ever imagined. Which I must admit would have never happened without the LORD and ChatGPT and my crazy topsy turvy life with David and Charlie.

What started as an idea is becoming something real. And honestly, that is one of the biggest blessings of this season. I have spent so much time worrying about what might happen that sometimes I forget to stop and notice what already has happened. I thought I would share where God has opened doors.

He has provided help. He has placed people in my life who have encouraged me and helped me move forward. This new beginning is not about forgetting the past. The past helped shape me. The lessons, the memories, the struggles, and even the difficult seasons all became part of my story.

But sometimes God calls us to a new chapter. A chapter where we grow. A chapter where we heal. A chapter where we use everything we’ve learned to create something beautiful. That is what I hope this blog becomes not only through the stories I share and the support of David and Charlie with Rene’s help and the Lord’s guidance.

A place filled with stories. A place filled with encouragement. A place where people can find reminders that they are not alone. A place where we celebrate the small moments and everyday blessings. I will admit I don’t know exactly where this journey will lead.

But I know who is leading it. And that gives me peace. Today, I choose gratitude over fear. I choose faith over uncertainty. I choose to believe that the best is still ahead.

Grateful. Thankful. Blessed.

Small moments. Everyday blessings.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
