Charlie has been down the past week with none of his friends from school checking on him. Bradley had been over to his dads this week then last night he was back for the week.
As a treat I decided to take the Charlie to Slim Chickens for dinner. If we had waited until Sunday Charlie would have been able to eat for free. Slim Chickens offer a kids meal where children can eat for free.
With Bradly being home and not knowing what his mom or his granddad had planned for the week we went ahead and went last night. Which didn’t surprise David.
B is like my son and when he is home and we do anything I always ask his parents if he can come with us because having a friend is more fun for Charlie.
We arrived at Slim Chickens and I had the boys go sit down. I had researched the menu before we arrived. I knew I was going to order 2 of the Hungry Meal meals.
With this meal you get 7 tenders served with Texas toast, a side, 2 dipping sauces and a drink cup for you to fill at the Drink Shack which is enough food for four meals.
For our sides I picked Fries which Charlie, Bradley and I could share. Then a order of Fried Okra for Bradley and I to split. For our sauces I chose BBQ, Ranch for Charlie and Gravy for myself.
I let the boys pick out a Soda and with the free refills they had a drink to bring home with them. David also chose a meal but he picked out the Smokey Cheddar Wrap Meal.
Our meal had enough Chicken Tenders that David even ate one and we had plenty to bring home for mine and Charlie’s lunch this morning. Our Chicken Strips was just as good this morning as when we ordered them.
David Smokey Cheddar Wrap Meal hcame with Tangy BBQ tenders, shredded cheese, lettuce & ranch. Served with a side and a drink cup for you to fill at the Drink Shack. David, chose fries so he would be able to share with us.
David liked the taste of the Smokey Cheddar Wrap Meal and the seasoning on the Tenders. David isn’t usually a cheese person but he said he even liked the taste of cheese on his sandwich.
I liked learning Slim Chickens offers Family Meals including Crowd Pleaser Pack which has Wings and Chicken Strips. David and Charlie would have something new to try for dinner.
I can’t wait to come back and try out the desserts with Charlie who wants one of there cookies. I would like to have Chocolate Brownie Pudding Jar Dessert Chocolate brownie, chocolate pudding, Heath bar, and whipped topping *contains nuts. Doesn’t that sound yummy?
