I don’t know about you and your friends and family but any #Holiday dealing with PETS ie DOGS is a day to celebrate in not only my home. My mother in law ie Granny Sherry home as well because like us she loves her Dog Penny more than anything and now Mike’s Dog Emily as well.
August 30 National Holistic pet Day #HolisticPetDay starts with the basics of good nutrition, lots of physical exercise, and even mental stimulation. I shouldn’t have to remind you animals need to be mentally active and challenged or they risk listlessness and boredom.
August 30 is National Holistic Pet Day, is a wonderful opportunity to build a homeschool lesson around the mind-body-spirit wellness of our furry (or feathered or scaled) companions. I’ve put together a educational lesson plan tailored for various age groups:

Lesson Components
1. Introduction to Holistic Pet Care

2. Science & Health: Pet Nutrition

- Activity: Make a DIY toy using household items (e.g., treat puzzle for dogs or feather wand for cats)
