Bedford Splash

Charlie, David each have there favorite Water Parks we like to visit each Summer. For me its Bedford Splash which is located at the Boys Ranch located in Bedford, Texas. Bedford Splash is the first water park we ever took Charlie to.

I know it’s hard to believe but Charlie was only 5 months old the first time we went to Bedford Splash. Every year since then we have visited Bedford Splash at least once each Summer.

I remember when Leslie and Travis were younger. They would stay with us during the Summer. David and I would bring them with them to Bedford Splash.

Leslie and Travis are grown and have there own families now. I believe this year I will bring my niece and nephew out to Bedford Splash. I can share our favorite water park with them.

Here is Aiden waiting for Charlie and David so they can go Swimming.

Charlie would be playing on the slides. Lily and Jason could play in the Children’s Play Area. David, my sister and I could walk around the Lazy River and chat.

If everyone wanted to we could spend the whole day at Bedford Splash Boys Ranch. Once we get through Swimming we could eat lunch or dinner depending on how late it is. Then the kids could play on the Play Ground.

See the Stepping Stones Charlie loves walking across them.

While there playing Debbie and I could walk around the park to get our steps in for the day. I could see David sitting on a bench grabbing a cat nap while no, one was looking.

I bet Charlie will have David pushing him on the Swings. Or Lily and Jason will have David waiting for them to come down the slides. Then Lily and Jason would want to be pushed on the Swings.

I know we will be able to create new memories when we bring Lily and Jason to Bedford Splash and I can’t wait to ask Lily and Jason’s parents to come with us.

Alyssa and David haven’t ever been to Bedford Splash. Bringing them and showing them Bedford Splash would give them a new Water Park to share with there friends and family.

Bedford’s 2019 swimming season will officially begin with the opening of the Bedford Splash on Memorial Day weekend, May 25 through May 27.

Bedford Splash will re-open daily through the end of the summer beginning on Saturday, June 1. In addition to Bedford Splash, Roy Savage Swimming Pool at Central Park provides a cost-saving option to cool off from those hot summer days, and will also be open daily starting on Saturday, June 1 for the summer.

Splash includes three different pools: tot pool, leisure zero-grade entry pool, and a multi-purpose recreation pool. Each pool has a unique feature.

The tot pool, better known as “Guppy Cove,” has a Tiki boat slide and a friendly crab named Lil’ Squirt. “Splash Beach” has an interactive play structure, raindrop waterfall feature, a current channel, a lily pad walk, two slides, and coconut palm trees.

Splash Beach” entry is zero foot to 3.5 feet, which makes this a perfect play area for children and adults. “Snorkel Bay“, which is a 6-lane, 25-yard lap pool, features a family slide with a slide-landing zone, and the “Turbo Twister” a Pro Bowl water slide. This pool will be the perfect spot for teens and adults to have fun, play water sports, and experience thrill-oriented slides.

Bedford Splash also offers “The Tiki Hut” (a concession stand), restrooms with showers and lockers, a family restroom, shaded seating area, and a rental party pavilion. Splash’s party pavilion called “The Cabana“, is available for rental.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
