Black Star Sport Horses Announces Fall 2018 Events

Charlie and my daughter Leslie love horses and both of them would like to have one. Only that isn’t feasible. I can’t wait to share Black Star Sport Horses because they offer Horseback classes which I think Charlie and Leslie would enjoy and allow them to spend time together one on one.

For Homeschooling I would like to bring Charlie out to the events so we can see what Dressage is in person and then we could add a Lesson Plan on Horses to our Homeschooling classes. As well as learning more about the town it takes place in. Because it is right outside Dallas/ Fort Worth and somewhere we haven’t had the opportunity to visit.

What is Dressage?

Dressage is an English style of riding with a rich history of ancient European warhorses. Today, dressage competitions test how well a horse is trained. According to the International Equestrian Federation, dressage is the “highest expression of horse training” and aims to develop a horse’s natural athletic ability. While dressage benefits all breeds of horse, the most popular breeds seen at the Olympics and other high-level competitions are warmblood horses bred specifically for dressage.
