This morning as we continued our journey of trying out stature in Hurst, Euless and Bedford for the Taste Of HEB Tour we took my sister to lunch. We stopped at Buttermilk Cafe and Bakery.
Before we could even get inside I found myself enjoying the decorations and couldn’t stop looking around at the Western Items and the sign that mentioned the Lord.
Once inside we waited to be seated and I had to check out the desserts especially the Pies. I saw a Pecan Pie I knew my husband David would enjoy. As well as Chocolate my mom would have liked if she had been here.
We were seated and our drink orders were taken. She brought the menus and our drinks. Then our orders were taken and there was so many choices I had trouble choosing what I wanted.
I ended up asking for Meat Loaf, Mashed Potatoes and Macaroni and Cheese. The waitress let me know I could leave the Sauce off my Meatloaf which I wanted to do.
She asked me if I wanted the Side Salad that came with my meal and I said yes. It was nice to find out they have both French and Ranch Dressings for the Salads.
My sister ordered the Salisbury Steak, Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans like me she also took her Salad. She wanted the Honey Butter for the Rolls which she said was wonderful.
David ordered Chicken Fried Steak, Eggs Over Medium, Home Fries, and Toast. I don’t know were David put the food but he finished his plate. While Debbie and I have half of our food for dinner this evening.
Everything we had was so tasty and I could tell it was all Fresh. My sister wants to come back to try the Liver while I want to return and try the Roast and more of the Vegetables including Fried Okra and Pinto Beans.
