Campfire Grill Texas Kitchen

The other day after Swimming all the kids were hungry. Feeding 4 kids and finding a restaurant that they can all agree on can be hard. As well as what type of food they will eat. I asked Debbie if she wanted to go to Campfire Grill Texas Kitchen which is were we hosted Charlie’s Birthday Party last year during Covid as they have a Party Room.

Debbie said that would be fine and some place new for the kids to try Lily and Jason hadn’t been there but Charlie loves the Fries and we thought the other kids would as well. We walked in and picked up a Menu to look over to see what they were serving because they have a lunch menu. We decided on a couple plates of Chicken Tenders and then Debbie and I would need to decide what we wanted.

The waitress let us know we should check out the Family Meal which comes with the following 16 Chicken Tenders served with 4 large sides & 4 pieces of Texas Toast. The waitress said we could order extra bread for no, extra cost which was a God send. I like how we were able to pick out 4 sides as each child got there favorite vegetable.

White Rice for Jason that Lily, Debbie and I would eat. Along with Bradley. Fried Okra fixed Extra Crispy for Bradley that Debbie and I would eat with him. Let me tell you the Okra was fixed perfectly and I can’t wait for David to try the Fried Okra. We also chose a order of French Fries for Charlie that everyone sampled. and we even had some left over. Lily and Charlie enjoyed dipping the French Fries in Ranch Dip.

Last but not least we picked out Macaroni & Cheese because everyone loves it and there would be no, arguments. Everyone tried the Mac & Cheese and I must tell you this was the best Vegetable of the day. I can’t wait to order more Macaroni and Cheese. Debbie and Broadley also can’t wait to get more.

The Chicken Strips were tasty and the breading was perfectly seasoned. With just the right amount of breading. I asked for Ranch for the kids and Gravy for myself which was the best White Gravy I’ve had in a while. I can’t wait to try the White Gravy on Chicken Fried Chicken which I know David will love.

The kids all shared a drink and they picked out Grape Kool-Aid. Debbie and I had Water and Sweet Iced Tea which was perfectly Sweetened. Debbie even tried the Un-Sweet Tea which she enjoyed because they have Free Refills. I would like to let you know the Family Meal feed two adults and 4 kids and we still had enough left overs for two more meals. As well as enough Bread for breakfast the next morning.

The Family Meal was cheaper for us than going to a Fast Food Restaurant and the food was healthier and much tastier. Chef Point Cafe is or new go to place when we have the kids.

I can’t wait for Debbie to try the Chicken and Dumplings with David and I love. If you visit Campfire Grill Texas Kitchen make sure you sign up for there coupons as you will get discounts on your meals and have the opportunity to get a Free T Shirt which Charlie can’t wait to get.

If you like meeting a Staff that makes you feel like part of the family and a owner who cares then you need to visit Chef Point Cafe as soon as possible because you will not be disappointed.

Once you finish eating make sure you take your receipt up to the Giving Wall and place it inside one of the containers because at the end of the month they donate a portion of sales to local Charities.
