Can You Really Make Money Blogging? Here’s My Real Daily Income (No Hype, Just Truth)

The Mommies Reviews

With as long as I’ve been blogging there is questions I’m asked all the time just like with Charlie’s gaming. One of the most asked questions for me and even Charlie if you can really make money blogging, or gaming and the honest answer is yes — you absolutely can.

But it doesn’t usually start big. It doesn’t always look impressive. And it definitely doesn’t look like those overnight success screenshots people share online. I’m building this step by step, and I want to show what it actually looks like in real life.

Today, I had one completed paid post come through Bazoom, and that post paid $35. That is real income from writing, publishing, and staying consistent with my blog work. It may not sound like a huge number, but it matters because it proves something important — the system is working. The pitching, the writing, the emails, and the consistency are starting to add up.

I also have upcoming posts from Kayla, who I work with quite a bit. She has three posts that are still being finalized, that will need to be done in June I don’t like to share numbers until everything is confirmed and cleared. Once I have final details, I will update this post with the full breakdown.

That’s really the point of this post. Not perfection — progress. Some days will be small. Some days may be nothing yet. And some days will surprise you in a good way. Blogging is not fast money. It is built slowly through consistency, patience, and showing up even when results are quiet.

And I’m going to keep sharing it honestly as it happens. I can tell you before Covid hit and even a couple years ago I was making enough money that when David was laid off my blog paid the bills. Then life happened and things changed and now I am struggling to rebuild the sponsored posts we used to have.

I know the LORD knows our needs before we do so I know posts will come when I need them even if its only $5 or $10 at a time which adds up. Come and join me on this blogging journey and see where life will takes us and what we do with the income we make.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
