Now, that Charlie is engaged and spending #Holidays with his fiancé’s family leaving David her with my brother it’s time to start making new Christmas Traditions. I can’t wait to share The True Gifts of Christmas with David to see if there is anything he would like to do in the book as we finish decorating our Townhome.

It’s hard when you have a Grinch living in your home who doesn’t want to do anything with any #Holiday. But I’m not going to let that stop me from decorating my home. Even though I’m late I plan on purchasing David and myself an advent calendar because we’ve never had one of our own even though Charlie has had them.

I love how the Author shows us how to create our own family advent calendar. Would you want to make one with David and me? If we were seeing small children, I would have set up a Candy Cane Hunt but since David and I don’t need Candy I will pass on this.

Since were passing on Candy Canes let’s make Gingerbread for our friends and family and there is a recipe inside the book. I love how the Author touches on Trees and candles. Then we learn about Santa Claus which children can study if there #Homeschooling,

I have a lot of friends who love Cardinals so it will be fun sharing Day 7 with my friends and family. My favorite was Day 8 Angels which we all know Suzzane is. Next is Day 9 Poinsette’s I would like to take to my mom and Suzzie.

Charlie said we could skip Day 10 which touches on Mistletoe. Day 11 is snowflakes which of course we don’t get many of. Day 14 is Bread, and the Author has included a recipe for Cinnamon Rolls I would like to make for Christmas morning. Would you want one?

Day 15 is 12 Days of Christmas, and the song is included in the book which we can sing with our friends and family. Christmas Stockings was another chapter I enjoyed. Day 18 is A Christmas Carol we could watch with our friends and family after reading the information the Author has shared with us.

Charlie’s favorite was Day 19 The Nutcracker which like my Uncle Chuck is his favorite Christmas character. Day 20 is wreaths, and I can’t wait to share this information with my mother-in-Law Sherry. Day 21 was Gift-giving my favorite time of the year. Day 22 the Author shares Nativity scenes with us which I would like to have.

David liked Day 23 when the Author went over traditional Refreshments with us. Day 24 is Silent Night. Day 25 reminds us to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus who is the reason for the Season. Make sure you remind your friends and family of this.
