Christmas Gift Guide 23: Divorce with Kids Roadmap Gift

Check out the review for Divorce With Kids Roadmap here and Bounce Back Blueprint

I must tell you from someone who has been divorced a couple times going through a divorce can be incredibly difficult, particularly over the holidays which are around the corner. I thought these two products created by a divorced mom may be of interest for anyone you know facing a divorce not only during the year but anytime.

I can tell you its really challenging to find a thoughtful and useful gift for someone going through a divorce. Below are two gifts created by a mama who couldn’t find what she was looking for which I wish I had to share with Suzzie when I went through a divorce because Suzzane was just a child and she thought that the divorce was her fault but she wasn’t the reason we got a divorce but the reason we stayed together. Which Thank the Lord she never knew.

Divorce Roadmap

The front of this 24″x18″ map is a real roadmap to the many different routes one can take to get divorced (with kids in tow) with directions to stop and smell the flowers along the way. The map manages to have a happy, uplifting, vibe, thanks to the colorful flowers and directions that keep kids front-and-center. Turn a corner to find instructions to use every pillow in your home to build a fort, or go fly a kite. The back of the map includes first-hand information on how divorce affects a 4-year old child, a divorce timeline, QR codes to a printable mediation checklist, tips on what to wear to court, even a friend the author has recorded in an audio clip in case your friends aren’t available and you could use a little reprieve.

Bounce Back Blueprint

This 11″x17″ blueprint comes in a kraft tube, much like a real architect would use. It’s a detailed plan of action to rebuild your life after divorce. One side has a blueprint and the other a vision board-type assignment; a password-protected checklist to what you’ll really need to start anew; first-hand tips on how to help a child adjust; where to turn for free, legitimate, financial advice when going from two budgets down to one; even a QR code to a mini cookbook.

Both items retail on Etsy for $14.99.
