As you know Charlie has ADHD and is also Dyslexic just as his dad is. It’s hard to get Charlie to sit still and complete school work at times. I honestly don’ know how when he was in school the teachers kept Charlie on task. Although when Charlie is playing Video Games we can stay up for days on end and blocks the world out.
In school this week I’ve put the phones up and sat out Art Paper and pens to keep Charlie’s hands and mind busy while discussing the work we need to do. This does help but Charlie gets so involved in his drawing he forgets the lessons were working on. I was at my wits end when I remembered all the Fidget Spinners Charlie has.
I thought about bringing one of them to the table but I got out The Original Weighted Infinity Flipper which Charlie was surprised to see. Charlie and David thought it was a dog toy and so did Annie and I even caught her playing with it. Being cloth I was able to wash it and set it outside to dry. Once The Original Weighted Infinity Flipper was dry I brought it inside and handed it to Charlie.
Charlie had fun feeling the material which is both soft and rough. Charlie let me know he liked the pink and green together. Being a circle Charlie showed me he could wear it as a bracelet. Charlie had fun flipping this over and over and having Infinity Flipper kept Charlie on task. Later that evening we was watching TV and David picked up the Infinity Flipper and had fun flipping it.
David let me know he would like to have one of his own to use when he is sitting at the Airport waiting on the Airplanes to come in. Charlie and David said children would have fun playing with Infinity Flipper as well as adults.
