Circo Metropolis to perform outdoor live show for families in Dallas

Charlie and I’ve been talking about studying the Circus as one of our lessons in Homeschooling. if we do there is a event we can attend and I can’t wait. Come join us at Circo Metropolis to perform outdoor live show for families in Dallas.

Laughter League and Shakespeare Dallas present Circo Metropolis, an outdoor pop-up circus experience at Samuell-Grand Amphitheater.

Fall family fun is not cancelled. It’s just reimagined at Circo Metropolis.

DALLAS (September XX, 2020)  –  From rediscovering nature and treasuring time with friends and family, to family events and unforgettable staycations – the joy of fall family fun is still here, it’s just different. Laughter League, a co-production with Shakespeare Dallas, will bring Circo Metropolis, a pop-up circus experience under the bright blue Texas skies on October 10-11 and October 17-18.

With social distancing in place, families can bring blankets, sit back and enjoy an afternoon of zaniness from the dynamic clown duo Slappy and Monday and their endearing circus friends. Playing at Samuell-Grand Park in Dallas, the all-star cast will also feature renown speed juggler Dario Vasquez, circus skills phenoms Kelli and Julio Ramazini, Magic Mike Williams, aerialists Circus2Wins, slack wire artist Chet Monday and songbird Lily Monday.

The Saturday and Sunday performances are on October 10-11 and October 17-18 at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Ticket prices are $15 each or $50 for a family four-pack, which can be purchased at LaughterLeague.org. Samuell-Grand Amphitheater is located at 1500 Tenison Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75223.

At Circo Metropolis, the safety of our visitors and employees is our number one priority. Based on guidance from health authorities and government agencies, the circus will be implementing enhanced safety protocols and social distancing measures to provide patrons with the safest experience possible.

The circus has endured for hundreds of years because it features humans doing incredible acts of strength and grace along with clowns who glorify our foibles and failures. The circus has survived because it is entertainment for the masses. Now more than ever, the circus is needed to uplift lives. The Circo Metropolis pop-up circus experience is the first step to performing in front of live audiences.
