Curious George: The Golden Meatball opens Friday, April 6

I woke up this morning and began to go through emails when I came to a newsletter from Artisan Theater this morning. All I could say was oh me on my!! The reason for this is they are putting on a new play beginning this Friday, April 6. The new play is Curious George The Golden Meatball.
For those that don’t know it, Curious George was one of my daughter’s favorite characters. I wish she was here to see this new play with me. Since she isn’t I plan on taking Charlie and David with me. This will give David inspiration for the new tattoo he wants to put on his arm in memory of Suzzane.
Join Curious George and The Man with the Yellow Hat for a “swinging” good time!

Curious George: The Golden Meatball
Apr 06, 2018 – Apr 28, 2018
Artisan CHILDREN’S THEATER, Hurst, TX
All-You-Can-Eat Meatball Day came just once a year. George had been waiting all month for that day, a day almost bigger than his birthday! On Meatball Day, George helped his friend, Chef Pisghetti, cook some delicious meatballs and serve them to the hungry crowd. But this year, the crowd had vanished! Something was keeping people away… something pretty big. And that something was Phinneas T. Lightspeed and his speedy Meatballs-o-Matic machine. In despair, Chef Pisghetti vows to cook no more. Determined to help his friend, George goes on a mission to enter the Chef’s meatballs in the world-famous Golden Meatball Contest in Rome.
With every swing and flip, George takes the audience on a fun-filled adventure, in which he learns more about Rome… and meatballs… and the secret ingredient to cooking!
Free Popcorn This Saturday!
Kids dressed up like Curious George or The Man with the Yellow Hat get FREE popcorn at the concession stand!**
**Valid for Curious George on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at 10 am or 12 pm only.
I wish David was off on Saturday as Charlie and I could dress up like Curious George and have a mother/ son outing as David is at work. Although if we went without David he would be very very upset with Charlie and I. So forget the movies this week we are heading to Artisan Theater if it is Gods will.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
