Most women would like for their husbands to Wine and dine them but not me. Meanwhile, some of mine and David’s favorite moments happen while walking through Aldi Aisel of Shame looking at snacks, seasonal finds, random home decor, and things we absolutely did not plan to buy.
Somehow every Aldi trip turns into an adventure with us laughing and talking. Calling to each other from different aisles as we find things we think we just can’t live without. More times than not we can and we do because we live on a budget.
David and I walk in planning to grab bread, milk, or something simple, and before long we are standing in the middle of Aldi’s famous “Aisle of Shame” talking about patio furniture, snack foods, kitchen gadgets, candles, or seasonal items we probably do not need but suddenly cannot stop looking at.
And honestly? Those little moments together have become some of my favorite memories. That is why I decided to turn these shopping trips into a new weekly series here on TheMommiesReviews.com

Now all week’s will be fun some weeks may be simple grocery trips. Other weeks may include random things we never expected to come home with. Or they may be weeks we are purchasing a Gift for someone or decorations for our home.
If you shop at Aldi, then you already know how that goes.
Why Aldi Trips Matter Around Here
There is something comforting about simple routines. Walking through Aldi together has become one of those routines for us.
It is affordable.
It is fun.
And somehow it always gives us something to talk about.
Sometimes the best memories are not expensive vacations or big events. Sometimes they happen while debating whether or not you really need another blanket, snack, candle, or kitchen gadget from Aldi. Or just holding hands and talking without anyone needing your attention.
