Ghee Happy Gods: A Little Board Book of Hindu Deities

Charlie and I would like to share of Ghee Happy Gods: A Little Board Book of Hindu Deities by Sanjay Patel with you this morning. Which we received a copy of in exchange for this review. This book is also from ChronicleKids.com

Sometimes a name stinks in your head and the Author Sanjay Patel with Charlie. Before we sat down to read the story I had Charlie research the Author and see if he had purchased other books, we could use in our Homeschool Home Economics Course when Charlie will be teaching and reading to smaller children.

Charlie was amazed to see how many books the Author had published and how many of them we had read without even realizing it. Which will allow Charlie and I to create a Lesson Plan based on the Author and his books. Would you lke to join us in class and see what Charlie comes up with for the Lesson? plan?

I wish you could see the cover of the book down interesting colors and with fun people and animals on it. Including a orange Elephant I loved. There is all kinds of shapes or symbols that will keep little ones interest for hours on end. Charlie thought the title was cute and he and David loved the word deities and have had a lot of fun using it at the most unexpected times.

f Ghee Happy Gods: A Little Board Book of Hindu Deities is a board book for younger children although I can see anyone of any age reading this story over and over. f Ghee Happy Gods: A Little Board Book of Hindu Deities had many teaching moments for my family as Charlie and David researched Hindus.

Charlie and David enjoyed learning about the different Gods and each of them had a favorite Gid. David liked Rama a god with blue skin and carried a bow that is the God of justice. Charlie liked Krishna because he wears a Peacock and is the god of happiness which Charlie and I think everyone needs. How about you?

I liked Ganesha which has a Elephant hear and a belly full of treats because I like snacks and the beginnings of god. Which I believe we all need new beginnings at times. Don’t you? Charlie and David were so impressed with the book and learning about these Gods that they can’t wait to see if there is other Gods and if other Countries have Gods. Would you like to join us in our studies?
