Life is funny when you live with teens ie children you learn to pick your battles and that is what happened this morning. I told Charlie I wanted the upstairs cleaned which is his and David’s bathroom and the stairs leading into the bedrooms steam cleaned.
I come back downstairs to do the kitchen and low and behold her comes Charlie with Hey Buddy Hey Pal Purple PEEPS® Eggmazing Egg Decorator which we use at Easter to decorate Easter Eggs with. Charlie says hey mom I’m bored can we color Eggs.
Instead of arguing or fighting with Charlie I stopped working and went to put Eggs on to boil. For dinner this evening we can have Deviled Eggs once we finish coloring the Eggs. This may not make David happy but I don’t care.
Charlie is growing up and will be 18 on his Birthday I will not have many more chances to do #Art projects with Charlie. Not only that its Summer and I usually take it off to spend time with Charlie. I didn’t do that this year.
We also have a The Treemendous Ornament Decorator Charlie wanted me to find to make Christmas Ornaments with but its stored away with the Christmas decorations and I’m not going to look for it. The next time Charlie and I color Eggs where going to look for plastic Eggs so we can place them in our #FlowerGarden during Easter and set up a Easter Egg Hunt for my nieces and nephews.
The sad part was the batteries we were using died while coloring our Eggs. That is going to get Charlie out of the house which is a Godsend. I like how Purple PEEPS® Eggmazing Egg Decorator can be used year after year with children of all ages.
Once we finished we used the Markers to create Art to hang up throughout our home. Charlie put the Peep in our Easter decorations to use next year when decorating our home with and it can be used outside as well.
Creating the Eggs is so easy and fun and lead to hours of laughter as we invited a couple of Charlie’s friends over to color Eggs with us. Lordy Lordy when you don’t feel good and your son decides to go through the #Homeschool Craft Supplies to find something to do and he finds Yellow PEEPS® Bunny Eggmazing Egg Decorator and it works just like Purple PEEPS® Eggmazing Egg Decorator but because its yellow now we have to try it out.
Oh, well it’s all good because I’m getting one on one time with Charlie which is a Godsend and Charlie isn’t on his phone or stuck on his game and he is talking to me giving me pointers on what colors to use for my Eggs.
Today has been the perfect day of designing fun with Charlie and know we are going to Hobby Lobby and Micheals to find plastic Eggs to use in our decorating. I would invite you to come with us but I don’t get much one on one time with Charlie so were going by ourselves this time.
